Privacy Policy

JULY Sign is operated by JULY. We collect the information you provide when creating an account (name, email, and business details), the documents and recipient information you process through the service, and usage data that helps us keep the service fast and secure.

Your workspace data belongs to you. It is stored in an isolated tenant with row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your documents to train models for anyone else.

AI features process the documents you submit (for example, running a pre-flight review) solely to produce the output you requested. Signature evidence (timestamps, IP addresses, hashes) is retained in append-only form to preserve its evidentiary value, and recipients are informed of this capture when they sign.

You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings, or by writing to privacy@july.ca. We retain backups for 30 days after deletion, then purge them permanently; completed-envelope certificates may be retained longer where law requires.

We use a small set of subprocessors to run the service (cloud hosting, email delivery, payments, AI processing). Each is bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. A current list is available on request.
